The beirut Tragedy

                                                                   Beirut Tragedy

One month ago, today, 2750 tons of ammonium nitrate exploded in the port of Beirut, killing more than 200 people, wounding 5000 others, and leaving 300,000 residents temporarily homeless.

This explosion is the third biggest explosion involving ammonium nitrate and it will go down in history to be one of the worst tragedies in the history of ammonium nitrate.

The tragedy still carries on people homeless and the fire has been neutralised but the buildings are shattered and this will take a long time to fix.

This week for current events we did an overall quiz so we went over some questions that we had done.

Summer learning Journey weekly activity

This was the first activity on the summer learning journey we had to colour in a artists image and recreated the colours.
Something I enjoyed about this was recreating the colours because you could do any colours you want and make it yours.
