The beirut Tragedy

                                                                   Beirut Tragedy

One month ago, today, 2750 tons of ammonium nitrate exploded in the port of Beirut, killing more than 200 people, wounding 5000 others, and leaving 300,000 residents temporarily homeless.

This explosion is the third biggest explosion involving ammonium nitrate and it will go down in history to be one of the worst tragedies in the history of ammonium nitrate.

The tragedy still carries on people homeless and the fire has been neutralised but the buildings are shattered and this will take a long time to fix.

This week for current events we did an overall quiz so we went over some questions that we had done.

  1. Kai Ora Archie Maya here , I really enjoyed how you have added a simplified amount of writing I this format and you have added all of the needed necessity for your post. I ma really shocked on the numbers of homeless residents and the numbers of deaths as this countries could not be provided with the enough amount of money for this damage to be fixed. Next time you could add more about what explored by explaining what it is. I have one question for you ? what was your most shocking part of finding out about this topic ?.
