See through toilets in tokyo.
The See-Through Toilets In Tokyo.
Who made them? And why were they created?
Artist Monica Bonvicini created this usable public toilet made of 1-way mirrors. It allows
the users to do their business while watching their city or town pass by them.
How do the toilets work?
When you outside of the toilets you can see through but once you walk in motion sensors turn on so once you walk in you can’t see through them from the outside.
What are the see-through toilets made from?
They are made from "smart glass" designed so people can see how clean they are inside before using them.
Today we did a survey about all the current world attractions and I worked on the see through toilets.
I liked doing this because It was very interesting learning about all the most interesting topics to the most stupid world attractions.
Something That I found challenging about doing this was finding the topic because there were so many interesting topics.

After the treaty was signed the pakeha population was way bigger than the Maori population new Zealand was overcome by pakeha.
Today we have holidays to separate the Maori culture like Waitangi day witch was the treaty that brought the Maori and the Europeans together and Maori language week was the Maori went to parliament and said the Maori language needs to be an official language in New Zealand and now it is.

tranformation
The first one was reflection, this is when you flip a shape over an axis, this shape stays the same size it's just mirrored.
Next one was translation, this is when you slide a shape to a different point, the shape stays the same size.
Then it was rotation, when a shape rotates through zero to three hundred and sixty degrees, this shape stays the same size.
Lastly, it was dilation, this is when a shape stays the same but the size changes.

Flax Star
Once we had some flax we had to watch the video but It was too complicated so we typed up another one and it was a lot easier to do than our first one, What I enjoyed when doing this was that I had never done It before or anything like it so it was a challenge, but my dad was helping me so it was a lot easier.
My Dad made It so you can hang it on the Christmas tree whats why there's a loop on the top.
you should try this at home using this link https://youtu.be/asFmG1iyYQw I hope you try this soon.

Anzac writing
Dawn services, commemorative marches and remembrance services take place on 25th of April every year which is the anniversary of the Gallipoli campaign of the First World War.
Three things that surprised me about Anzac day.
1- The first dawn service on ANZAC Day was in 1923. Although there were commemorative services the first official dawn service was held on 1923.
2- The ANZACs were all volunteers.
Everyone over eighteen had to go to war or else you would go to military jail.
3- More than 11,000 ANZACs died at Gallipoli and more than 23,500 were wounded.
Australia had 5482 killed in action, 2012 died of wounds, 665 died of disease, total deaths 8159. 17,924 were wounded. 8556 New Zealanders served in the war, and 2721 died, 4752 were wounded, a total of 7473 casualties.
Three facts I’ve found more about.
1- There were 2000 men killed or wounded on the first day of the Gallipoli campaign.
2- after an 8-month long campaign the British and French forces had suffered 44,000 deaths, the Turkish had at least 85,000 deaths.
3- Gallipoli was the first major amphibious operation in modern warfare ever! The Anzacs landed on the Ottoman held peninsula in the Dardanelles straits with disastrous consequences for the allies.
spinning wheel
https://we.tl/b-5iEyRB4eg
Yesterday I and my dad made these spinning wheels to show how light can change how we see
colours. RGB is called an additive colour system because the combinations of red, green and blue light create the colours that we see by stimulating the cone cells simultaneously in our eyes. We have shown how red and green can look yellow when spun quickly and how blue and yellow can look white. This is different to when mixing paint of the same colours. We used a fidget spinner to help it spin faster.
